I’m thankful I found this product with Amazon wardrobe and was able to try on a few different sizes and styles/colors. I’m 6’2” and 200 lbs with a fit build. Im a size 34 waist and when I’m fitted for dresswear I get a slim fit, 36/37 sleeve shirt and 42 Long sports coats. I typically don’t layer under my jackets (generally just wear a t-shirt) so I wound up going with a Medium Tall after learning how huge Larges seemed to be on me. I haven’t bought a medium in any apparel since middle school, so I was surprised I needed a medium, but I’m so thankful I bought the Tall because the sleeves fit perfectly for my long arms. The interior sleeve cuffs are right at the base of my palm, and don’t ride up my arm when moving and lifting objects. The Full Swing features are nice and gives me a great fit doing any movement. I live in Iowa and the wind breaking ability of this jacket on cold/windy days is impressive. I also appreciate the pocket locations and pocket sizes. My only two minor complaints after 3 weeks of use are 1) the ribbed waist cuff is a little tight on my waist but I’m hoping it will stretch out a little bit over time. I usually just wear it unzipped when I’m running errands on 30-40 degree days. 2) The felt lining and construction of the shoulders is comfortable BUT it seems to “snag” my shirt sleeves when putting on the jacket each time, which bunches up my shirt sleeves at the shoulder. I usually have to reach across with my other hand and pull my sleeve back down my upper arm on both sides.Overall, I love the jacket and I wear it often when temps are below 45 in Iowa. I felt obligated to leave a review regarding fit because it seems so difficult to nail down sizing with Carhartt. I’m a slim, tall, large guy and I went with a Tall Medium. My 3rd Full Swing in as many years...nothing wrong with the first two, just lots of hard service and less presentable now for casual wear. That said, these jackets (more like light/medium coats) have become all I put on in non-formal outings. I climb around in the steel of buildings, and being able to reach for bar joists without restriction in my shoulders and arms, I'd trade that for nothing. I maybe DO wish the shell was the older heavier canvas, as I weld a bunch and I'm in abrasive situations, and my first two BOTH are wearing-trough in the sleeves but, it's character that used to take a couple more years for the Carhart to develop. For the money, you absolutely can't beat these. And for casual wear?...c'mon man, you'd have to don some Harley gear to get cooler than Carhart...you might get laid simply over you jacket! (I wouldn't know....I've been married for 33 years, and I ain't get laid no matter what. :(I'm 6'6", 280 Lbs, husky build, and I swing an axe sometimes. It says alot for me to say this coat fits and I can move my arms and elbows with it on. Seriously, that's not something I've said before. The body length and arm length are also both really good. The chest size is a touch loose without layers and just right with an extra shirt (perfect). I washed before I wore as I didn't know if any dye would bleed (better safe). The duck weave cotton material is plenty heavy and of great quality, the fuzzy lining is more than warm enough. I can already tell this coat will last me through quite a few winters.I like this jacket! It is heavy weight. I am a big guy and.. 6 foot 1 235lb. She got me the 3XL Tall. My wife bought this for me to keep warm and dry when I need to use the snowblower. I wore it all day cutting wood with the chainsaw without any fatigue at all. It fit well with lots of room and no arm restrictions . Two things... I think the zipper should be heavier and the side pockets should be deeper. My leather gloves keep falling out. There is a zipper breast pocket that is handy for your cell phone or something else, and two inside pockets that come in handy.I have purchased a different active jacket before in a much looser and larger extra large tall size. This purchase is a large tall and an incredibly much more snug fit than my previous jacket. This would be considered, by me, stylish. The materials seem to be the same rugged material components of my previous jacket. An additional odd thing about this jacket is the placement of the hood adjustment fittings. They are inside the jacket rather than outside - this looks awkward.Overall, I like the fit of my older Carhartt jacket much better.Update: This full swing jacket I won’t even wear; if I could return it now I would. It is too tight and completely the wrong model. Stylish or not, this order was a mistake. I will give it away - a waste of my money.Perfect fit , well made, should last minimal 2-3 years! TyI am 6 ft around 218 within athletic built, the jacket is really nice feels real roomy even though it's insulated. The jacket does fit but it's slightly a little too big with the large tall. it looks okay on mebut it just slightly a little too large and the way this jackets design is supposed to sit right at the waist and the sleeves are supposed to be right at the wrist I just have a little extra material which I don't need because the arms move very well and doesn't pull the material like in other jackets I would need it.:)Great winter work jacket. The full swing feature makes this supremely comfortable...no stretching across my back or chest when I’m moving. Has become my go-to when it’s cold outside...been close to -25C and, with a single base layer, this jacket keeps me comfortable and warm. I’m 6’4 and 190 lbs; medium tall fit well, but the sleeves are almost too long. Returned it for a regular medium and couldn’t be more happy. Would highly recommend.I have purchased many carhartt products. This did not seam to fit like other jackets or sweaters I have recently bought. I would have gone up a size or two. My other large tall fits perfectly over a heavy hooded sweater this one is pretty snug. Great concept I think the sizing is offI could not find a winter jacket in a tall size anywhere near me, so as a last resort shopped Amazon.Found the Carhart jacket in my TALL size and ordered it.Came to my door very quickly (before scheduled delivery)Im very happy as the arms a plenty long: the movement in this garmen is great, and to top it off its warm. Thanks Carhart.Gave it to my son for his birthday. He works outdoors and said this is the warmest jacket he’s ever had. It’s very durable, he can move easily in it. He loves it.Great winter jacket! Super warm and heavy but still flexible. Jacket material feels durable and the dark brown colour looks amazing. Will be your new favourite jacketI ordered the XL tall. I’m about 6’2 230 and it fits perfect. Still a little baggy in the stomach for layering. Probably right on the edge of going with the normal length but I wanted the body and sleeves a little longer
